About Matchbook Wine Company:
East of Napa, Left of Center: The Giguiere family embodies Dunnigan Hills winemaking. In 1981 they pioneered grape growing in this region when they planted their first vineyard. By 1993, they had succeeded in creating the Dunnigan Hills as a nationally recognized American appellation. The Matchbook flame is an homage to the Giguiere brothers’ youthful fascination with fire. Today, Matchbook Wine Company produces wines showcasing the varietals that perform best in their Northern California climate.
Matchbook Tasting Room:
Located just 30 minutes north of Sacramento and Davis, Matchbook is a local Yolo County destination for wine lovers looking to discover quality estate-grown varietals. Our 2,160 square-foot tasting room includes an open-space meeting area, a private meeting room, a wine bar constructed with repurposed wood from a local barn, and a 400 square-foot patio overlooking Matchbook’s estate vineyards and the coastal mountain range spanning the western horizon. Surrounded by over 1,200 acres of scenic vineyards, Matchbook Wine Company’s tasting room is a fantastic setting for intimate meetings, ceremonies, and get-togethers. Open daily 11:00am -4:30pm.
